Are you Early Adopter or a Laggard?

Are you an Early Adopter or a Laggard?

Innovators are risk takers.  They represent about 2.5% of consumers.  They see the the brains behind the amazing products and services that come to market.  They have a passion that can not be explained.  Eventually most people enjoy nearly all products or services as they progress through their lifespans.

Early Adopters are the Visionaries that change the world.   They see what can be done with new products or services.  Early Adopters tend to be Educated opinion leaders and make up about 13.5% of consumers. They have done the research.  They are the ones that the Early Majority looked to, to introduce them to the newest, best, things.  They are the difference makers when a new product is revealed.  They can make or break a new product entrance into the market Unless the Late Majority picks up on it quick enough.

Chances are you fit into one of these categories.  Where do you see yourself?

Early Majority are careful consumer that tend to avoid risk until it has been proven by the Early Adopters.  They rely on reccomendations of others who have experienced the product.  The Early Majority represents 34% of consumers.

Late Majority is skeptical of the product until it becomes commonplace. The Late Majority represents 34% of consumers.

Laggard may never adopt a new product. Chances are you are not a Laggard, because you are reading this post.  Laggards represent 16% of consumers.  Quite frankly they miss the BOAT!

Now where do you are yourself?
